Welcome to the Upper Tuscarawas River
Regional Watersheds Website!
Click on a Watershed Below for Information

This website contains maps, links, reports, and general information
on the Upper Tuscarawas River, the
Nimishillen Creek, and the
Chippewa Creek Watersheds of Northeast Ohio. From the creation
of the Ohio & Erie Canal to the development of the manufacturing
industry to the irrigation of fertile farm lands, these three
waterways have had, and continue to play a significant role in
the development of Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, and Wayne Counties.
The two main goals of this website are:
1) to provide
the most up-to-date information available for the Upper Tuscarawas
River, Nimishillen Creek, and Chippewa Creek Watersheds; and
2)
to supply educational resource materials and
links for those
interested in water quality protection and restoration.
Site Navigation:
To find information specific to one of the three watersheds, simply

adding information
and resources as they become available, so be sure to check back
for updates!
Thank
