Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS)

NEFCO publishes a regional economic development plan, the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), and annual updates to this plan (as required by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration, one of NEFCO’s funding agencies).  The CEDS document contains maps, graphs, tables and statistics that describe the state of the regional economy; regionally-approved goals and objectives for economic development in Portage, Stark, Summit and Wayne Counties; a list of prioritized economic development projects; and the criteria used to rank regionally-significant projects.
